I head there was a program in Nepali that was like kaun banera karodpati. Does anyone have a link or more information?

kuan banega karodpati ta thah chaina tar a few years ago they had this program called "ko bancha lakhapti" with the maximum award of 5 lakhs. it was hosted by madan krishna shrestha. it was never really popular but it went off tv when one of the attendants complained that the bank refused to recognize the check brought from teh show. it was really humiliating to the producers of the show. and then it went off air. i think mayos or wai wai hosts a similar game show too.

program ko naam, hosted by Madan Krishna Shrestha, was not "ko banchha lakhapati", it was "Nagad Panch Lakh".

I think it's great idea to set up a show like that in Nepal. Funded by people like us in the US. Anyone interested?
