Hi,

If u have 2 year HRR than you cannot chage ur visa status unless U get a wavier from it. It would be better if u join another program (study). I' m also in J-1 visa and its expiring in less than a month. I am going back Nepal soon.

hi there,

can you plz help me regarding my J1 visa status. I came here on J1 visa but i have already left my employer 'coz he was not paying me enough so my status will remain ok until my visa is expired or not or i'm straight away out of status. And I have found one person who is willing to sponsor me thru his firm so is it possible to sponsor on J1 visa or not plz help and give some suggestion.

thanks in advance.

hi guys

As i told  u i am going to graduate this fall; my advisor told me that if i anyhow find a jjob related to my studies then they can issue me a EAD or OPT for 18 months.. but if i ddont' then i have say bye to this country...i am looking for it, and prety sooon i will be geting it, as i ave applied in thousand of places...

well, i have a questions...is there a possiblitity that i get my Visa status change to F1 and again join the university for Masters...cause my adviosr told me that if i use the 18 months practical training time after my bacholer degree that i have to leave USA right after i get my Masters Degree...

so i was hoping if i could transfer my visa status from J1 to F1 within this gap of 18 months, before i join for masters degree.....

thanks, any suggestions will work....
