i have applied for my h1 and if i get it i will still have to got to school to be on status by joing kaplan or college. If i go to college can i work under CPT right away and get paid even though I am not on h1 until octber 1. I heard that you dont want to run payroll on the time your opt ends till october 1. Will CPT make a difference.
