I have a tourist visa to the US that was issued last june. I had planned to travel to US last september but couldn't. I am planning to go there in a few months. Does anybody know if I have to go to the US consulate and get re-stamped? I have heard that you have to use the visa within six months of the issue date. Is this true?
Any info on this will be highly appreciated.

Gyani Keta,
Toursist visas for the US issued from Nepal are usually for 5 years, although in very few cases people are issued Tourist visas for less period of time. Check the validity of your Visa. If your visa is valid, you do not need to go anywhere and can easily travel to the US; if you Visa has expired, you will need to go to the Embassy and get another one.
There should be something like "Valid Until" or "Valid For" or some thing like this on this, which will determine if your Visa is still valid. Good Luck!

Unless there is any restriction mentioned, there is no need to worry about. You can travel whenever you like to. My mom did the same thing. She came to see me after 4 years from the stamped date.
