Hello Everybody,
I have one year of working experience in Nepal as a Mechanical Engineer. I am graduating in this August with MS in Mechanical Engineering (Design and Manufacturing focus). I am looking for an entry level position as a Mechanical Engineer in USA with potential H-1B sponsor.
Could you suggest me which place/employer is good to start. I am scared with the new OPT rule (3 months unemployment=No Status) too and not interested to join IT Consultancies. Any help/suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Mech

If you have a sound knowledge of fit and functionality with skill in 3D softwares like ProE or Solidworks, you there are plenty of jobs around. H1B is a different issue. Try catching one of the recruiters for companies like CAT. Smaller companies very often do not have job postings on their site,, but they can always accomodate people in if they find your skills to be useful for them.
All the best.

Thank you GwachAquarian.
Any specific suggestion (name of some recruiters of CAT, Deere etc. ) or technique for job haunt in this area or place with more jobs for mechanical engineers (with F-1) visa, from you or anybody else would make me feel more comfortable.
Thanks to OcRam (Mr. M.A) for your investigation too.
Your suggestion as PM or in common will be highly appreciated.
