Are you allowed to take jewelry in hand luggage?

Is anyone able to help me with this?

I have few women watches which are really expensive .
Sorry to say but  I afraid if I put those on main luggage, People working on Nepal airport might steal it .. I am going through Korean Air to KTM

Your advice is appreciated
