 iphone 4 or Samsung Captivate Recommendation

Guys,

If I have to choose between Apple Iphone 4 and Samsung Captivate(with Google Android 2.1) which one would you suggest?
I have used apple products and really like them. I initially had already used the first generation iphone which was nice. Can anyone share their experience with Android devices or anyone using the new Captivate?
I have looked at various reviews and mostly they seem comparable in every aspects except the front facing camera. Pricewise, iphone is $199 and Captivate is $49 from Amazon.The recent network and proximity sensor issue bothers me from choosing the iphone.

What do you guys say?
