How long does it take for Prevailing Wage Determination by DOL?
As per my lawyer, he is still waiting for it although he had sent the request on June. Is there any other options available?
Actually, One university offered me the job and we are in the process of filing H1B. My OPT is expired on July 1.
Is there any way to replace or waive the Prevailing Wage Determination by DOL?

there is no way to replace the PWD by DOL.
Looks like, from July 15 or so, DOL stop to assign any PWD and not sure when they resume their service.

To my understanding, DOL has stopped prevailing wage determination for PERM only which is for Green Card not for H1B.
I am also in the process of filing H1B and my Lawyer applied for Labor Condition Application (LCA) to DOL on August 8th,2011 and I received an email saying that my LCA approved on August 15th,2011.
Dont' know if LCA is same as prevailing wage ???

* PWD suspended for PERM and should not affect H1B. Dont khow how your H1B is affected. Ask your lawyer.
