there used to be limewire.....very effective and powerful p2p music downloader but the corporate greed took it down.

there has been a kind of vacuum for quality music downloading p2p softwares. can you guys share some quality, powerful , free software like limewire?? theres frostwire but it doesnt seem to be as effective as limewire.

i know theres a whole bunch of those i can find on cnet. com but i am looking for some first hand personal experience.

Ever heard of torrents? Download any torrent client like utorrent and search for the files. One the legal side, if you listen to music on computer why dont you use Spotify, Rdio or even Pandora. They are all great.

i do use torrents occassionally but not really used to it. i do use pandora but i m trying to download music for my portable device.

There is nothing that u wouldn't find using torrents. Try using it but be careful coz . There had been some cases of law suit imposed against illegal downloads of music and movies in the recent past. I used to download lots of stuffs before now restricted to only handful of exceptional dhoti movies occasionally. If u don't care then torrent is the best option to go. My fav. Torrent search site is "thepiratebay". Good luck.
