I'm using Samsung Galaxy S2. It does not recognize Nepali fonts properly. I searched for Nepali fonts in Android market but could not find any. Any help to solve this problem of mine is very much appreciated. Thank you.

Opera Mini Next browser solves the problem. Thank you but I still wish I could read Nepali script inside apps like Yahoo Mail. Otherwise, I'll have to use Yahoo Mail on the Opera browser.

Two ways to solve it. If you can load ICS - it should support devnagri font however if you are still in GB then you can root and replace the DroidSansFallback.ttf in /system/fonts by relevant devnagri font. You can search in sajha for my previous post for this or google it.

@Power_Ranger - I am also using SkyRocket and i have upgraded it to the leaked ATT ICS. It supports devnagari font by default. Or you can try following if you are still using GB

@facebook - check this link in xda to get appropriate font http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1560715

@Facebook - you can use this font if you want to try. Dont forget to backup your existing font

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4129379/DroidSansFallback.ttf

On a side note, Samsung did a great job with Galaxy Note where it had the support of the devnagari font in a brilliant way even in the gingerbread. I used the international Galaxy Note before and it was there already but not sure if the ATT Note has the same thing.

@Power_Ranger - check this thread out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1565232 This is the leaked ATT ICS official ROM (should be around 300MB). If you spend few minutes there you will get what you need.

@ritthe - technically both tmobile sgs2(hercules) and the att sgs2 skyrocket are the same. I dont have access to a tmobile sgs2 so do not have right answer to your question but there seems to be some development going on in xda. here's the link if you want to try out http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1332

Looks like the leaked version has too many cons. I'll supress my hunger for Ice cream sandwitch until they release the official version.

Thanks Lazyketa and facebook !

Like Facebook said above, they haven't rolled out the official update for ICS yet, but I am hoping it will soon pop up in our devices.
