to cut it short, if you can convince me that animal sacrifice is bad, i will acquiese that we should get rid of it. if not, i am not ready to get rid of it because i benefit from it.

Animals were created to become our food , which is proven by ecosystem in science.
You might not like meat, I do not like alcohol, my fren does not like sea food, someone else does not like smoking and my another friend does not like gambling, etc.. It does not mean all things are bad and should be banned for everyone. It's your choice. If you do not like it, don't go for it.
My disagreement was about eating meat. I am not talking about muslim or culture and I do not think eating meat is a culture. its just a need.

well, I do eat meat but I cannot eat meat if the animal was was beheaded in my eyes. So if go home for Dasain there is no animals were killed in my home.

With that said, I don't thinks that's what we are talking about here. The intention of this discussion probably was , is it socially ethical to "MAAR HANING" in the name of god! Well, I think it's a personal issue, family issue. In our household we have been sacrificing "KUBUNDO" for a while. But who are we to tell people not to sacifice animals, even if they do it "for god."
