These brave and honest Nepalese, in North America, have strongly opposed the alliance between terrorists and former Political Parties with the sole intention of putting an end to the conflict in Nepal. Thanks for the names, Bhoonte. I am saving this list, so that we can reward them when peace and democracy is restored in Nepal. I have read articles by two people in that list; they are wonderful writers. I say the next dakchhin bahu be awarded to Khagendra Thapa and Kamala Sarup -- let's start rewarding the "brave" souls!

Hehehe...their press release (taken from one of the sources Bhoonte puts above): An organization of the Nepalese living in the United States firmly condemned on Sunday the parties-Maoist accord, accusing the parties of reaching to the agreement with the rebel outfit at the behest of foreign powers. The Nepali Nationalist Organisation (NNO), in a statement released from New York by NNO President Bishal Shah, urged all patriots to remain alert to reject and fight the “anti-national criminals.” The use of the word "criminal" sounds soooooo familiar; Dr. Khagendra Thapa at work! “We request the international community, the US, the EU, our very friendly neighbour China ("our very friendly neighbour China" - I loved that phrase) and all Hindu and Buddhist friends of India (All other religions, please stay away; you don't deserve to live) , to extend their friendly hands to fight the Bin Laden of Nepal, the terrorist Maoist gangsters and Nepali Taliban, the unholy alliance of seven parties,” the statement reads. "unholy"; "taliban"; wow...what a desperate attempt to make the king look nicer! The statement further states,”Needless to remind the domiciles that those criminals have been providing so much pain to all, and now they have made secret deals to handover our sovereignty to their masters across the borders,” calling upon all patriots to disregard the call of the anti-national criminals and make the national elections successful. 1) the political parties are not the only beings giving pain to "all", 2) the deals were NOT secret, honey; they are all over in papers, 3) "patriots", "anti-nationalist"..wow...seems like Mahendra came back from his grave in hell, 4) "national elections"..hmm...with 72 bhare bhure parties that made up less than 2% of total votes in the last election (read today's TKP); they should call it the World Elections!

The biggest hero award should go the the lahure though. They have been contributing so much to the economy of Nepal with thier $$$ before even you guys ventured out. Not all the lahure may be as educated as the people in the list but they are gambling/ gambled with thier life to earn a honest living and in the process earned the title "bravest of the brave" Just mention the name in any part of the world...

What, in fact, did these listed personnel do? Even a twelve year old uneducated, village girl from remote Illam enchanted with many against Maoist, whom I happened to meet in a rally in Kathmandu. So what really these folks did???

Does "Bhoonte" means that anyone can be "real" Nepali heros by just opposing something by posting something on paper? Please clarify bhoonte, please clarify asap. Maybe i also want to be real Nepali Hero by opposing the King in stongest possible term for hijacking the democracy and not recriprocating the ceasefire. Urgently awaiting to hear from Mr. Bhoonte.

"Real Darbariya Heroes/Heroines" bhannu parla..."Real Nepali Heroes/Heroines" would do something for, or at least believe in, NEPALI PEOPLE'S SUPREMACY, not the King's.

Does "Bhoonte" means that anyone can be "real" Nepali heros by just opposing something by posting something on paper? Biswa, you have raised a very good question. And I will try to answer it in the best way that you can understand, but not necessarily in the most logical way as you may have some difficulty in understanding it. No, good-for-nothings and room-heroes like you can never be real heroes no matter how hard they try in opposing something and publishing something in papers. To be a hero, or a heroine for that matter, you have to be a man or woman of substance and concience, and you should contribute to the society in a positive manner so that lives of, lets say 2 crore 50 lakhs Nepalese, can be made better. Just like the aforementioned individuals have done. If you have any more queries, please do not hesitate to let me know. Bye for now.

Bhoonte, your definition to be Hero/Heroine of any country seems more stringent than mine. The question here is not about me. But it is about the people you have mentioned (I would say very needlessly) in this post. DO THEY QUALIFY AS HERO/HEROINE IN THE DEFITION THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN? I am sure you are not going to reply to this post. Have a good day. P.S. i wonder how u missed humor (or is it called satire) in my earlier post.
