Pasu no need to spew out your hatred. I think lot of people would be interested to know how she's doing. After all she was in everyone's mind for nearly a month. It would be nice to know if she's doing alright so that we all can move on.

When she was lost, everyone worried about her and wished nothing happened to her. Nothing was wrong in that. Now that she's been found it's only natural to wonder how she's doing. Some anally retentive people might feel that it's their business to comment on everything but they should be minding their own business and shut the fug up if they don't feel that way.

ToiletCoffee Ji, As a matter of fact, everyone is curious to know about someone who suffered and caused everyone to worry. I wonder why such feeling did not touch your heart. You are very odd to talk to. Never mind..

Yes, it is natural to worry about someone. And it may as well be natural to be curious. But to be curious just to know for the fact of knowing is different from being curious to show your sympathy or help. The former one is probably more of a nepali mentality than a natural human behavior. If I may, let me ask, what if the girl is not doing fine? Are you going to help her, are you going to go see her and give her a company or other financial or moral help? You may be living in a completely different state or you may not even know the girl personally where to provide such help may not be feasible. If it is to share the news with your buddies, than yes Pasu and Bathroomcoffee are right. Such curiosity is unwanted, or rather morbid. Let me give you an incident I came across last year on the way to Nepal. I was boarding a connecting flight from Bangkok to Kathmandu when a young nepali guy, may be in his early twenties stepped into the plane with some security guards. He seemed mentally unstable not knowing his name, his destination, or for that matter his own existence. He had a name tag hung around his neck, a small bag-pack on his shoulder and the guard told the flight attendant that they found him stranded and wandering outside the airport with the plane ticket. I assumed that he must have come to Thailand as a laborer and roughly got traumatized. The air hostess who was not able to communicate with the guy asked me if I could help. I volunteered and sat next to him asking him questions just to get some information about him and where he was wanting to go, but in vain. Then I saw few other nepalese in the plane who left their seats and sat next to where we were curiously, just to know what was going on, as I heard few of them asking to other people "Kay Bhayo?". And when the flight was about to take off, those people returned back to their seats. This incident left a bitter taste in my mouth. I was appalled to see how morbid one could get just as to please his/her own thirst of knowledge of other's suffering. And I see the same case here.

Nas so you got one hand in your keyboard and the other one stroking your dingdong? That's a very nice talent do be able to multi task like that. Hurray your anecdote is different from this case. Many times Nepalis have come together to raise fund for the needy. Once they get the donation, the receiver rarely cares to come back and provide any update. It would be nice to know what happened to the person that you donated some money for. Wouldn't it? In this case, we donated our concern and goodwill towards her. Checking news sites for any updates. We donated our time because of our concern. If we needed to make some donation we would have done that too. And now that she's been found, I think it's natural to wonder how she is doing now. Just because some of you have been in the US for too long you try to be anally retentive about privacy issue. I'm just asking because it would be nice to know that she's doing well because during that 1 month i was concerned for her.
