Very serious and MUSICAL speech delivered in English!

I don't see anything wrong in this video except his saying 'Climate change is rare instead of real', his accent (which we all have) and his poor reading skills (he's not a newsreader). Much of the blame for this poor video goes to his script writers and his advisors (for setting it up in the newsroom style). This again points to have a need for the good advisors. Makune violated the rule for advisors by appointing the one with not even intermediate level degree (while the minimum qualification to be appointed for Nepal PM's advisor is master's degree).  

What do you expect him to do then? I think he must have done a lot of practice before this presentation. You should at least appreciate for his homework. Recall his background. He is not a Budhanilkantha or Xavier graduate, he is not "Boarding School" product. He perhaps never spoke a single English sentence until his late 30s or middle 40s. Still, he made a mediocre presentation, which is good enough. I suspect he gained that much of english speaking capability from English language institutes, home tutors, self practice and the experience from his foreign visits. As his height looks funny in front of OBAMA, his speech and accent looks funny too, but we should not forget that his is standing together with one of the great orator of the world (President OBAMA).

I find that the content of his speech is good enough for a politician representing the country like Nepal. Nepal can not promote and support big proposal, can not afford climate change research, can not hurl serious issues that may discomfort powerful countries who are responsible for the climate change, and has to attract international eye to Nepal, the areal prone to climate change effect. Considering these limiting factor, I am asking to all you guys who are not satisfied with his speech to write here a speech for him. Will you ?

And for those ppl who make fun of his Accent and Speech delivering Skills, Common now , English is not his Mother Tounge , but still he did a Ok job.

 

This guy is using teleprompter, just like his boss, whose boss is also Obama's boss.

This is one of the boring lackluster speech. There's no need to have good accents or perfection in english to deliver the speech. It seems like he's merely reading it without understanding any gravity of his speech. If he can't understand it, be it in nepali or english, how he expects the others to follow. Yes, I still criticize his advisors, and it's their jobs to provide him with the fine speech.
