 Pepsi, let me give you the easiest way to  unlock the Spring 4s. First the phone needs to be active in any Sprint phone lines with the data plan. If the phone is not active, you can ask with your friends and see if they have Sprint, It will just take 30 min to an hour. After the phone is active call this phone number  888-226-7212.  press option:2 and tell them that you're travelling abroad and need to unlock your phone. They will submit the request to Apply and give you instruction how to unlock. Basically they will tell you to sync up your iphone to the itunes and restore and hit YES and it will be unlock. All it take is just 30 min. In that case why to pay 100$ bucks for some unreliable source. Good luck bud.

@KB....as far as I know if you unlock sprint phone through sprint, unlock will not work in USA, that mean iPhone can't be used on Att or T-Mobile. So, evey sim is the best and economical solution for unlocking a iPhone.

 @rahasya: I am not aware about the brother, that might be true. I actually asked with one of my co-worker and he suggested me to do it. I did unlocked two iphone 4s few weeks ago but, as you said those phones are in Nepal. I send the phone to Nepal first and activated later with IMEI number. Since i work for Sprint so so i didn't have to call in order to activate but yes i did called the number i mentioned avove to unlock and it worked. I don't know whether it will work here or not. TY.

 Dear dickkhead uhi nepali, first read the comment properly before you post any other comment and if you cannot read, go and take ESL class and come back. I told pepsi how to unlock the iphone via customer service of sprint. The reason i know that is not only because my friends suggested me to do it but also i work for Sprint you shittthead.. Later i accepted on what rahasya said because i didn't know about that and i haven't tried that yet. The two phones that i unlocked was sent to Nepal and both of them are working great. The reason i haven't tried that here is because most of my friends and families in U.S. have Sprint because they are in my employee referal plan. Hope you understood now dickkkkhead.

pepsi bro... i looked up that gevey thing on amazon and all i could find some sim cutters. would you please explain how this unlocking process and stuffs needed work or where can i find em?
p.s i have a verizon iphone.

i have a Verizon one!! which i haven't been successful to activate yet!!! it is unlocked and everything!! it shows the signal too but it doesn't show the carrier!! if anyone know how to activate let me know ... @pepsi .. how is activation process with sprint ?

unlocking Verizon is lil different than other carriers imo!! u have to jailbreak your iphone and install furiousmod then only you can unlock it!! and activate it!! m stuck at activation!!

and don't try to [Disallowed String for - bad word] up with the process !! coz m at 5.0.1 and apple has stopped signing for 5.0.1!! u will have to upgrade to 5.1.1 ...

the fun part was ..i deleted cydia by mistake... and absinthe won't let me jailbreak again... i could have installed cydia by ssh and ifile then i realized i had no ifile and terminal!! LOL!!!
