I just came across a banner in Sajha advertising migrating to Australia. Actually, it said 'live and study' in Australia. In that case, studying is fine. But to live in Australia by getting a permanent residence is hard. Actually, the government has gotten strict since last year. So, just thought I would warn incase that banner is misleading. Seen lots of friends who R stuck in the situation where they come here to study and find out that they are not eligible to apply for permanent residency.

Hey latoboy, wait! don't make ur decision based on this post. K tha? U might like Australia. For studies, ramro cha. It's cheaper than US plus U get to finish your degree faster in Australia than US. I think you should do a careful research on it instead of looking up at the postings in Sajha. I wrote this posting saying what MIGHT happen. Abha sapai ko faith different cha...not everyone will be following the same path. La, good luck!

I don't know about Australians being friendly to asians. I never had any problems with them. But I have heard some stories like that which even happened to my best friend.

I've heard everything about australia they all wear hats and lie half naked on the beach they all surf they all drink beer when they're thirsty they all love footy ten times more than cricket if it were up to them they would call frogs - chazzwazzers they say no worries mate and good on ya mate all the time, even when they're beating the crap out of each other. they all have pet kangaroos and koala bears it is against the law not to eat bread and vegemite for breakfast.

Hmm..Republican, there are couple of Truths and False in those statements: 1. False: No, not everyone wear hats. And sleep naked on beach? Which khaire country doesn't have their ppl sleeping naked on beach? Australia matrai justai..hehe. 2. False: Not everyone surfs. 3. True: Yep, they seem to love Footy more than cricket. I hate both games..give me soccer any day. 4. Who cares what they call their froggies? 5. False: doh! 6. False: No they don't. Infact, they eat them! Well, not koalas but yes, do eat Kangaroos. 7. False: no comments. All I can say is vegemite tastes like #$@%#^*&%$! :D Xena
