We were sitting in the car
And I told him to stop
As the car came to a halt
In my throat was a knot

"We have to break up"
I said with a frown
He just stared at me
Then he looked down

He picked up a paper and pen
And scribbled something on it
Not paying attention to me
God I feel like shit

He folded up the paper
Then handed it to me
Still holding back the tears
"Read it later" he said calmly

He started up the car again
And we were on our way
Why did it have to end like this
Did it really have to be today

I shoved the paper in my pocket
As we crossed the rail road track
Then we stopped at my house
I got out without turning back

I took long heavy steps
Because I'm nothing but trash
Then something grabbed my attention
When behind me was a huge crash

I turned around to see my nightmare
I recognized the car instantly
A train and a car were coiled together
From there, everything got so blurry

Figures running and screaming
"Oh my god, call the ambulance!!!"
Although I already knew he was dead
My life truly is unfair

I just couldn't accept it
The pain I have inside
A million knives went through my heart
And the pain I could not hide

I remember the note he handed me
I read it and began to cry
It said in four simple words
"Without you, I'd die"
