.lfc123, i don't think this is an immature conversation. anyone can come across this phase of life at any time in their life. i experienced it when i was 17, and then when i was 19, then 21, then 23, then 25, then 27. now, finally i have realized that because of those ups and downs and turmoil of giving heart to girls whom i believed in and had faith in, were just a mere temporary happiness. and those short happiness brings greater pain. now single and having a great time, want to stay single for some time more. i want to finish what i started, and take care of all business before i am going to explore again. but a warning to boys and girls out there... do not jump into a relationship with one who does not respect their previous relationship and decide to forget about it. if you are dating someone and he/she tells you that he/she cannot forget his/her past relationship, don't give your heart to it. just enjoy the moment for sometime.. (by sometime, i mean at least a year or two). then you might just discover what is really there for you and your significant.

I do not believe that people are intentionally bad that is the reason i ma always hopeful even otherwise. It is just the cirsumstances we are in at the time.

My humble opinion in approaching a girl is akin to taking a business deal. It depends how important the client is, whether or not you want this client for the long inning or is it another stair for better clients, akin to building credit history. How far are you willing to bend - either ways?

Say like, if you are targeting retiring folks, you present the business planning to suit their needs, or what appeals to them. Furthermore these retiring folks could be sub-categorized, and hence the proposal varies, i.e., Small business employer plans, IRAS, 401(k) Workplace retirement plans so on and so forth.

(Here retiring folks could be a metaphor for ripe ladies considering jumping off the wagon - what the society would call - "biha garne umerpugeka hru") :)

There are some who prefers candies, and some who fall for continentals, some prefer Chinese, some would fall for Indian and some will swear by our very own Nepalese dal bhat tarkari.

You got to change yourself to suit their needs which in turn shall satisfy our needs.

The gist here is, you approach anyone for what its worth and what do you want from that relationship. I am using the term relationship rather loosely here. Don't break the rules, but one can always bend em'. It works both ways.

Remember one golden rule --> Different strokes for different folks.
