Friends, I am using this space for making a personal announcement that is very much a part of my Sajha life and which my well-wisher Sajha mates have been inquiring for several months already. Well, my mini-novel Chaytna Nasakeko Chithiis finally published and a website dedicated to promote it is up and running. - http://www.dkhadka.com/chithi I have a long list of Sajhaites to thank. First and foremost, Echoes for an excellent web design and Shree for valuable guidance to web-illiterate person like me. Gokul-jee for a wonderful preface for the book which, let me give a preview, starts with the story of how it all started right here in Sajha some years ago. I am donating the proceeds from the book to Help Nepal Network. And I have to thank Shirish for making that possible and helping me out in too many things. I am also grateful to anonymous Sajha artists and models for their precious cooperation during my initial search for a design for the book. Then all initial readers of the story for their encouragement and following up inquiries regarding its publication. So, basically, in Sajha had my book it's birth pang and it would not have seen this day without Sajha. I have been telling to all that Sajha has been a rewarding experience for me. This book is a living proof among many others I can produce. Thank you Sajha mates ! Thank you Sajha ! Nepe - http://www.dkhadka.com/chithi

Shirish, And the pleasure is mine. *** *** *** *** *** *** Coffee, It is> a self-promoting thread and has already been running for almost half a year, if you don't know already. Well, most of the socalled fund for the socalled victims of the socalled state-violence against the socalled People's movement collected by the socalled pro-movement activists went to the socalled Maha Fund for the socalled victims and some went directly to the socalled victims at various hospitals socalled. Most of the socalled Maha Fund remains unused partly because the amount collected was huge and also because hospitals themselves provided whatever help they could. Although a large chunk of the fund remains unused, the fund has used it's full meaning to do the secondary, or primary if you like, job it was intended to do. This socalled people's fund was among the few socalled decisive factors that socalled broke and brought the socalled monarchy to socalled it's knees. The socalled King must have got a shock of socalled his life to see the number socalled Crore which was only meant to be used for socalled Bahuli dakhila to the palace, was being used for the fund donated by his poor subjects for themselves. I think the number crore broke the king more than anything else, be it the fund or the number of people that came to street to take his bullets. Hope it answers your question. Nepe

Yeah its just funny to see you post a line now and then to bring your thread ATOP. he he As far as the funds go... People gave these funds in good faith to be utilized for the betterment of our country. Not to have it sitiing in some bank account to have the natural process of bank erosion take place. There are a lotta people that could use that $$ like heathcare sector, education sector, or even inject it to rural economy for cottage industry to encourage people to revive their regional economy. BUT NAAH NEPE WOULD RATHER PLUG HIS WEBSITE AND HIS BOOK ...he he MAN this just reiterates my character of U NEPE the person(who is nothing but an oppertunist and a MAPAI). he he Yeah everyone come check out my book on the web, while all of the $$$ general public gave in good faith sits in a dwindling bank account. he he

hehe..BC..your persistence is breathtaking...hehe. Nepe, I have been a silent admirer of your literary prowess. your command over nepali literature had me in awe several times. I have listened to almost all of your weekly shayaris so far. just a miniscule request by this admirer. while one can interpret those shayaris that you present in those series in various aspects, i have found that you somehow tend to juxtapose them with political philosophies. nothing wrong with that--absolutely not. but a listener like me happens to like shers and poetries that are pertaining to life and human emotions--yeah nothing else but plain human emotions devoid of any political philosophies. is it possible to dedicate one or two editions to a listener like me? Tufano mein Kashti ko Kinaare bhi milte hai, Jahan mein Logone ko Sahaare bhi milte hai, Duniyan mein sabse Pyari hai Zindagi, kuch log Zindagi se bhi Pyaare milte hai. just my 2 cents...please don't take it otherwise. Loote

I read Nepe Dai’s book and liked it very much. I am not a fiction loving guy but there were two reasons why I read this book. I consider Nepe as a close cyber friend of mine though we rarely interact. Unlike me he is immensely interested in Politics and I believe he has vision in his field of interest. Few years ago, when I read his hopelessly tedious article on Republic Nepal, I thought this man was dreaming. Now, his thoughts are tends to be realized. I believe in result and Nepe deserves respect. Despite my reluctance in politics I am fan of some Sajha political analyzers. Of course Nepe is one of them. When I read newuser’s political analysis I felt I was reading my own write ups. Ashu’s columns/postings astonish me “boy how someone can possibly steal my thoughts!†Dodhare and Isolated freak impress me from their genuine logics. There are some other too, who are not in the top of my tongue right now, but their political analysis is admirable. I hardly know any of these people personally; however, I feel I am very close to them. Perhaps I may not get opportunity to interact with some of these people because of our difference in field of interest, but my respect for them will always be in my heart. This was the first reason why I read Nepe’s Novel. The quality of life should not be measured by its coziness but by wholesomeness. Wise people shouldn’t care how someone lives but how good someone is. People, who live only for themselves can not taste the beauty of life because they can not find happiness. “Selfishness leads to misery and selflessness generates happinessâ€, this law of nature was discovered thousands of years ago by the every single society in the earth independently. I haven’t been able to do any remarkable selfless service yet, but can not live a selfish life because I dear not challenge the nature. This book is dedicated to “Help Nepal Networkâ€, a non-profit organization. I am very much thankful to the Author who provided me opportunity to read such a wonderful story with the benefit of selfless service. Thank you for Help Nepal for carrying my few cents to them who are in despirate need. This was the only reason why I went to see MaHa program as well. This was the second reason why I read this book. Since I read the book, I feel I am obliged to post my view; that I will do some other time. Hope the Author is open to criticism.

Vishontar-jee, It's an honor to have you as my reader. And it will be my fortune to have your critical view on my work. I very much look forward to reading them. *** *** *** *** *** *** Loote-jee, I completely agree with you. I was just writing to one critical listener from Kathmandu this bit in a slightly different context. Poems speak in metaphors and symbols and are, therefore, not limited to one interpretation or projection. So I am not really interpreting the verses with my political interpretations. Let's say, it's the other way. I was rather trying to interpret my political philosophy with these verses. I am sure politics will make it monotonous, so I certainly will include non-political stuff to refresh myself and to satisfy parakhi listeners like you. And thanks for the lovely rubayee (muktak). What a beautiful way to say what love is. Nepe
