As far as i understand, here it goes: Pratakshya means you vote to an individual candidate that is running in your constituency. In samanupatik, you vote for a party you like. There are two ballot papers. In one you vote for the candidate you choose, and the other one you vote for the party you like. Remember that, it might be the case that you like candidate A but don't like the party he represents or vice versa. In that case you vote for candidate A, and vote for the party that you like. Due to various reasones, it is not necessary that I must like the candidate who is representing the party that I like.

1.  in pratakshya: whoever candidate gets the highest vote wins.
2. In samanupatik, they count total votes of each party from the whole country. Then divide the seats proportionately.

Hope what I have understood is correct!!!!!

So,

the results they are showing now on news, that is for voting an individual right? When do we get the results for samanuaptik? or is it already out?

here is the link for proportionate, which will count for 330. 240 for FPTP, and 26 elected by those 335+240 (make it 25, save 1 for prachanda)
