Hi everyone, I am having some issues filing permanent residency. Well when I came in US I was a J-1 student with a 212e residency applied. While I was ready to file for the green card I was advised I need to have it waived. Its been over seven years that I have applied for the waiver but my case is still pending. Has anyone been through this situation. I would really appreciate good feedbacks. Also I was just over 26 yrs when my case got accepted and haven't been able to enlist in selictive services. Is there any possible way to get inlisted. thankx

After 25 you cannot enlist in the selective services. They will give you a letter stating that you cannot be denied of any services because you were not registered. Call selective services and ask for a letter.
