Would anyone know if it is possible to startup a business on H1B visa status?

Yeah, you can. The only catch is, you cannot work for that company yourself. But you can open up and employ others.

The company itself is responsible of paying taxes then? Since I personally would not be able to do so because of my status.
Any prospects on GC application through the company?

Any additional info is much appreciated. Thank you.
