Hi All, Iam a grad student at US and want to join medical school but I don't have fund and they don't support. Can you plz suggest me whether international student are eligible to apply for education loan or not. If yes, how ?

You are eligible for government as well as private lender loans if you are either a Permanent Resident or a Citizen (similar provisions exists for Refugees/Political Asylees) however these opportunities (if you can call signing your life away in terms of repaying debt- an opportunity :-)! is not available for foreign students. Some schools may have some form of an academic scholarship program that you can apply for but even these, as far as I know, are very limited and if they exist, are tremendously competitive...your best bet would probably be to speak with the school that you are interested in to see if there is something you can get. Alternatively, there may be scholarships from private parties on the internet that you may find. Good luck !
