hi guys, i got a ticket for completely not stopping my car at the STOP sign...I thought i completely stopped it but the police officer says "you slowed down but u didn't completely stopped it" >>. so is there any way that i can defense it, i thought i stopped it completely but i don't know...So what's the solution of the WAIVING of the ticket if there is any ? Can i plead guilty and offer an explanation in the court ? does that helps or not ? If u guys have any idea plz let me know......IF i plead not guilty do the officer presents the Video tape ? what happens if my fault is seen ? Do i just pay the fine or anything else ?
waiting comments from u guys !!!

if it is your first time for driving violation they probably will give u a break.

plead not guilty and talk to the prosecutor and explain what happened to him/her. tell them if it is your first ever time for traffic ticket or if u have no criminal history.
they might feel sorry for u and help u out.. but if prosecutor doesnt want to help u , be ready to pay the fine. im guessing that fine is probably not too big.. maybe only like $100 or 200..

post what happens later in sajha to keep me updated.

go to the court and request them for defensive driving course. they will charge you the court fee and then give you 90 days to complete course. then registered any online defensive course it costs you $25. then submit your certificate to court. the case will be dismissed. otherwise if you pay fine, it will go on the record.

be careful next time.............
