everybody is legal when they come to US. there is no round figure about the number of nepalese but once i have seen on one website...and till 2006 there is around 22 thousand nepalese...

What ... just 22,000 ?? There are more than 50,000 Nepalese in New York alone. I would assume there are about 300,000 - 400,000 (including legal and illegal) Nepalese in US. Would be interesting to see someone quote a realiable source...but I doubt if anything like that exists.
