On June 18, 2025, Judge Theodore D. Chuang told the United States government to give the court all the documents and proof they used to decide to end TPS for Cameroon. These are the records that led to the decision to terminate TPS.

The court made this order official on June 20. If the government does not respond by the deadline of June 25, 2025, the judge might take action or rule against them.

I learned that Nepal TPS could also be affected by this case. If the judge gives more time in the Cameroon case, it might help Nepal TPS holders get more time too, maybe an 18-month extension.

Good luck!!!!

Is this in relation to the lawsuit has already been filed against the termination of TPS for Cameroon?

Sql_server, I do not see Nepal mentioned in these cases. Will these cases also benefit Nepal's TPS?

This case isn’t directly about Nepal, but its outcome could still have a major impact on the future of Nepal’s TPS designation. That said, keep in mind that the district court’s ability to issue a nationwide injunction might be limited by a Supreme Court ruling expected tomorrow.
