Hi,

I am currently in US in working visa. My DVcase number will probably become current in May. I have few questions so that I could arrange my travel plan accordingly. Your input will be highly appreciated-

1) When I entered US a couple of years ago, I used the regular passport NOT the machine readable passport (MRP). Can I still use my old passport or I need to get a new MRP for the visa interview?

2) How long does it take for the complete medical check up process (including getting an appointment and physical check up)?

3) If visa interview is successful, how many days in general does it take to get the passport with visa stamp?

Serious input only please.

It depends how soon you will get the appointments,  they will ask for immunization and we do not have. May take some X-ray and some lab work  so in a week you will get your medical.

Existing old passport can be used until 2014.

you can use your old passport till 2014...
medical check up will take maximum one week.... you have the contact number and adddres clinic in first letter....just call them early and make an appointment... this all depend how you manage
they will take 2 weeks to stamp visa... then you must enter USA within 6 month of that date...
