The Nepali Diaspora and friends of Nepal, including organizations like the Nepalese Americas Council (NAC)
and the Association of Nepalis in the Americas (ANA), have come together to present to you a petition that appeals
for a peaceful solution to the current crisis in Nepal. It is a joint effort and a collective appeal.
Over 1200 individuals and 35 organizations have already endorsed the petition, but we need a lot more signatures,
which means active support from you. Events are moving very fast in Nepal and we must be proactive to make
a difference. The violence has to stop and liberal democracy must prevail, and we all must provide the energy, spark,
and leadership to achieve this.

We have established a supporting web site which contains useful information such as,
the online petition link, the official copy of the petition, the joint press release by NAC and ANA,
