I am in F1 visa now and I am thinking to bring my wife and son here in B1/B2 (tourist Visa) because of minimum chances of getting F2 visa and later, I want to change their visa B1/B2 to F2 .  Do you have any idea/experiences about this issue??  I will appreciate you valuable suggestion and that would be great for me. Thank you

I think that F2 visa is for the dependents of F1 visa holder.  Individuals eligible for B1 visa range from board members and
athletes to musicians, entertainers and servants of non-immigrants. The B-2 Visa is issued for pleasure trips for a brief period of time,
and may also be granted to spouses, children and parents of B-1 Visa
holders. So, you need to make a judgment about what visa application to file. GoodLuck.
