All the royalist are now saying that if monarchy does not exist in Nepal India will take Nepal , that means Nepal will be dissolved within India. I dont want to argue whether it is wrong or right. But I would like to ask you what is wrong if Nepal is dissolved inside India. For Example If Prithivi Narayan sah had not united Nepal you would have been Gorkhali, I would have been Lamjunge, another one would have been Bhaktapure etc. We are nepali now bwcause all the small states of that time dissolved in a big country. This is another propoganda royalist are spreading. There is no way 7 Parties are going to sell Nepal to India. I know 7 parties do not have ethics to trust them, but fighting for democracy is not fighting for 7 parties . Chances are there willl be new leaders new Nepal, voters now have learnt politics more than they had before. Today everyone from Mechi to Mahakali knows politicis, it is sad that they got aware of politics in hard way (through maoist war) but good thing is they did learn it.

Going back more to your India point. Just analyze who has more ties with India. King owns Nepal's biggest bussiness interest (Surya Nepal and Soltee) that has direct ties with India. King is also being supported by Viswo Hindu Parishad and he is giving them millions of rupees in return. While country is being bankrupt he is providing millions to them.

Shah and Rana sold Darjeeling to India, when British gave them option to either taking back Darjeeling or taking Money. Ranas (Shahs) took money from which you see palaces all around Nepal.

Tribhuvan went to India to save himself from Rana's, he would have agreed for anything. India dominated treaty between India and Nepal is a result.

Mahendra sold part of Nepal to China to get support for his autocratic move during 2017 BS.

If you analyze history Monarchy has used Nepal and Nepalese for their selfish interest than any political parties.

People also argue that saving Nepal is in self interest for monarchy bcos monarchy exists till nepal does. But why should we try to exists on others daya and maya? We are capable of existing on our own. I do not think in this 21st Century India has any interest of taking nepal into themselve. I have read little bit of the Nepalese history. Prithvin Narayan Shah was on the way to Makawanpur-his parent-in law’s principality. From the hills of Makawanpur, he got the view of beautiful Kathmandu Valley (Nepal) and he got allured and murmured himself “I wished I could be the king of such a beautiful country”. He had to go to Makawanpur second time again to get his wife back and again he was fascinated by the beauty of Kathmandu. He felt inferior himself being the king of a hilly principality like Gorkha and he decided that some day he would become the king of Nepal. As a strategic planning, he developed friendship with the prince of Bhaktapur and spent two years there to understand the socio-economic-political situation of Nepal.

So, its clear that Prithvi Shah’s unification process (I would rather term it as expansion) was motivated by his thirst and ambition of being the king of a beautiful and prosperous and wealthy principality. Some of the principalities like Makawanpur, Lamjung, Palpa were invaded because of his personal rivalry with them. So, its his thirst of power and wealth that lead him to expand Gorkha.

Had Prithvi Narayan Shah not united Nepal, would we still remain Nepali? Who cares this hypothetical question? Then, only the Kathmandu Valley was called Nepal and only its inhabitants were Nepali. Others were Gorkhali or Palpali or Makawanpurey or so on. Had India invaded us that time, we would have become proud Indian today and had Chinese invaded, we would have been a proud Chinese today, as much proud as we are Nepali today. Dibya jee, did you plan in heaven to born as Nepali or you became Nepali because you were born in Nepal to Nepalese parents? It doesn’t make sense to question today whether we would become Indian, had Prithvi Narayan Shah not united Nepal. And would Prithvi Narayan Shah have been successful without the support and participation of people? Did he go alone with Gorkhali Khukuri? Nepalese history describes the heroic adventures of certain king or prince or commander and overlooks the individuals who sacrificed themselves for the country. So, we people have contributed as much as or even more than the Prithvi Narayan Shah or his successors and King G can not claim that his ancestors earned this kingdom.

Hadn’t King Tribhuwan with all family abandoned Nepal in 2007 and went in refuge of Jawaharlal Neharu and asked him to annex Nepal? It’s the parties and people who brought him back, dethroned the Ranas and re-installed him?

Yet, when the situation augments adversely, the Royal Family would flee from the country with the wealth they have amassed. There is already rumor that his last trip to Africa was in preparation for fleeing the country and looking a nice place for him to settle. To certain extent, it sounds logic otherwise there was no point to visit those countries with whom Nepal has not any “lena-dena”.

There are over 200 countries in the world, 99 % countries do not have kings, are they being taken by their neighboring countries? The answer is no therefore please come out of the belief that if the Kingship is over our nationalism is over. The kingship is nothing but the dictatorship. It is not the absolute solution for any country. You cannot jeopardize your life in the hand of some one who has not even born. Who know what is Parase's grandson is going to be, as he can turn out to be a monster, worst than Paras and you royalists you are betting your future on such an uncertain thing.

Shah Dynasty has been nothing but a bad luck to Nepal. Even before Prithivi Narayan Shah was born, the problem started. About a month before PNS mother got pregnant, one of the other Rani (his stepmother) also got pregnant. PNS was born in seven month therefore those 2 Ranis were always fighting arguing about whose son should be the King. The one that came out on this earth first or the one that got in the mothers womb first. PNS was ambitious and courageous person therefore; in his lifetime, he was able to suppress the greed for power. However, the greed for power did not end on his lifetime. It has continued until today. Be it Rajendra Laxmi, lalit tripura sudari, Bahadur Shah, Rana Bahadur Shah who was killed by his own brother. We all know the story of Birendra, Dipendra, Gayanendra and Paras.

We Nepali need to come out of the Shadow and be enlightened that the Kings are not the god's almighty that they want us to believe; they are humans just like us. May be even ruthless than us due to the centuries of uncontrolled power greed and monopoly.

स्राेतका अनुसार असोज २० गते बुटवलमा भएको सवारीमा नवलपरासीले ७ लाख ६४ हजार रुपैयाँ बेहोरेको थियो । यो रकम सर्वसाधारणलाई बुटवल ल्याउन लैजान यातायातमा खर्च गरिएको थियो । त्यतिबेला प्रशासनले सर्वसाधारण ओसार्न जबर्जस्ती ६९ बस र करिब अढाई सय ट्रक प्रयोग गरेको थियो ।

भदौदेखि मंसिरसम्म माओवादीको एकतर्फी युद्धविराम तथा हतियार खरिदका प्रमुख स्रोत रहेका मुलुकहरुले नेपालमाथी हतियार नाकाबन्दी लगाएका कारण रक्षा र गृहको खर्च आक्कासिन नपाएको हो। १९ माघ २०६१ मा राजाले शासनसत्ता हातमा लिएयता मुलुकले हतियार किन्दै आएको भारत, बेलायत, अमेरिका तथा विभिन्न युरोपेली देशहरुले हतियार सहयोग तथा बेच्नमा बन्देज लगाउँदै आएका छन्।
