If she is a BAHUNI and does not look like one then she must be an UGLY looking dame. Man! get your eyes checked. And you sound desperate too, remember there are plenty of fishes in the sea.
I AM IN LOVE WITH A LOVELY WOMAN WHO GOES TO COLLAGE WITH ME. SHE IS VERY PREETY AND COOL TO BE AROUND. SHE DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHINK ABOUT THIS, SHE IS A GOOD FREN OF MINE. WHAT CAN I DO? HINT; SHE IS BHAUNI BUT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE. PLS HELP ME?
It was nice to see so many Nepalese at once after a long long time. Thanks to the organizers of the dashain party. You guys made my dashain real good. I am very happy about that. Hello to everyone who visits this website.....
Hi All, Instead of answering each question/comment individually, I'll attempt to answer in one go.
Ashu: I have incorporated your suggestion by adding a "YOUR COMMENTS" space where you can enter your comments before forwarding a discussion. Regarding more than one emails to forward to, you can list the emails separated by commas.
Boston_Girl: As I've mentioned in the Kurakani section, the chatroom now leads to channel GBNC.
Diwas_k: Because of the fluid nature of internet connections and what not, some links do not work sometimes and work at other times. Because of that reason, I do not like to make decisions regarding which is a "DEAD" link. Take the first St. Mary's link, it was not working for last two days but is working now... I trust that people will only post valid links.
Nisha & NK: You'd be amazed how many people actually liked the flying pictures! Yes, I do realize that it's hard to please everyone, and so goes life. Besides, I do not claim to be perfect so I could make mistakes too and learn from them. In any event, I had planned that flying images for yesterday to catch the attention of visitors, who according to statistics will miss a non-animated advertisement more than 80% of the time.
AJ: It would be difficult to name the people in the picture because there are a lot of new faces and not everybody knows everybody else. In addition, because of the events in this site last two days, I would exercise caution before putting identification for the people in picture. If you people in the picture would like to put your name under the pics, please email me directly. PS: Welcome to the site.
Reema Shah: Currently, GBNC does not have any official photographer who provides me pictures to put in the web. I had to ask a friend of mine to take pictures/print them out/scan and email to me. So basically in technical terms WYSIWYG what you see is what you get . Unless someone emails me more pics, I would not be able to add more pics. For future considerations, it might be a good idea for GBNC to have an official photographer for events like this. Regarding scrolling down on the left links, please set your windows screen size to 1024 by 768 for better results. Email directly for instructions. PS: welcome to the site.
Hi... Could u please add some more pictures from the Dashain party and could u pls update this homepage because the it is impossible to scroll down the links that's on the left? what is this??
Hi San di, Why are those photos flying?? It looks funny...... i'm sorry for saying this but it does maybe it could sit quietly somewhere....... Regards
This "forward this kurakani" section is an excellent feature.
Could you please add a box to that, saying something like: "add your comment here" so that when one forwards the kurakani, one can also add one's comment as a sort of a short preface. That way, the person receiving the forwarded kurakani has some idea why s/he's receiving the kurakani stuff.
For instance, when one forwards articles from, say, the New York Times, one can add one's comments as a short preface.
Also, what is the procedure for forwarding to multiple addresses at one go? Would each address separated by a comma or a semicolon as in Slate.com do? Please advise.
Keep up the excellent work; and be assured of my total support.

Hi ANepalikt, thanks for informing me of the offensive posting. For anyone's information, the offensive posting eminated from Toronto Public Library and currently any access from there has been blocked. Anyone accessing from there will get the message as you will when you click on the following link. Click here to see what they will see instead of the site
Thank you for your continued patronage of the GBNC site.
Dear Moderator/Webmaster: I bring to your attention the postings in Kurakani and in the "Lighter Side" that are of a highly inappropriate, explicit and very offensive nature. I think I will not be alone to say that postings like that and posters like that should be censored!! Yes, cesored. I urge you to use the identification number to please bar these people from such horrendous use of their "freedom" of speech. GNBC is a community, be it merely online. But it should reflect the community standards of people who participate in it. The posts are offensive and rude and perverse. I do not want to be subject to such crap when I visit a site. I have to say if this kind of standard is the norm of this community, I will choose to opt out. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Good you seem to be concerned about the copyright things. I will admire you if similar practice is followed when it comes to coping materials that are printed in your publications by the staffs.
When the matter of pragmatism was the point in this site, where were you? Take an example from San, how he regretted for taking a picture of national pride for Nepalese.
The following website has a few pictures taken by me at a FIREWORKs in a Bank of River that passes through the heart of City where I am currently a resident. These are my own work. Please, use them freely FREE: only applicable to my country mates: i.e. Nepalis . You can use in pictures with the victory at Cricket Match in Nepal or elsewhere. The first few picture 002 ~ 005 .JPG are not relevant, to fire works, but, flowers. Hana = Flower, and HanaBi ~= Fire FLower - exact translation
I am writing this to you on behalf of Kantipur Online, the web venture of Kantipur Publications, to express my extreme displeasure over the use of our photograph of the victorious Nepalis cricket team on your main page without giving any credit to the the site the photograph you had lifted it from i.e www.kantipuronline.com . You have only mentioned the name of our photograher Narendra Shrestha who is presently working with us. In fact, you have even deleted the copyright and credit sign we had attached on the bottom part of the photograph. I hope you will correct the mistake immediately and refrain from resorting to such practice in the future.
Dear Mr. Rabi Khadka, I appreciate the time you have taken to visit our Greater Boston Nepali Community Site. I realize that you were displeased over the use of an image from your site, and I apologize for any inconvenience. Let me assure you that the reason that image was put was not for any business purpose or with any illegal intent. It was to celebrate the victory of our Nepalese team; for lot of people who visit the GBNC page from abroad. The cutting out of your copyright was not intentional it was simply to fit the picture in the little space that was available. What was important was the spirit of Nepalese identity and the sense of pride that came with the picture of victory and the picture of our flag unfurled.
In any case, any displeasure caused is regretted.
Best Regards, San Pradhan Volunteer GBNC Webmaster 10/19/2001

The online DV application form in this site is wonderful. If I am not mistaken, the mailing add for North America region should be following:
North America:
DV-2003 Program Kentucky Consular Center 6006 Visa Crest Migrate, KY 41906-6000, U.S.A.
just thought i point that out.
Ravi, The only country eligible from North America is the Bahamas, if you are applying as a citizen of Nepal, please use the address shown in the DV page. SP 10/10/2001
Namaste, This was a very beautiful site that you have posted, it shows how close of a community you guys are. We are from Canada and we are also having a community build up with lots of nepalese, especially in the greater Toronto area, and just like you guys we hold our annual functions. We found your webpage and added it to our Links in our website because it was so informative, and as patriotic nepalese we would also like to help new nepalese in this forein land. So if you can if possible display our link on your website, it will be greatly appreciated by NAC, Nepalese Association in Canada which started in 1993. http://www.nac-home.org Thank you
Hello Friends of America I really appreciate the activities of our Nepalese Brothers and Sisters living in United States. You have done many works to recognize Nepal around the World. It is good. I request you to do something for the solution of the many problems of Nepal like the violations of human rights, Maoist War, etc. At last, I invite you all to visit the Human Rights Site of Nepal promoted by Human Rights and Peace Campaign HURPEC Nepal: http://www.hurpec.org.
