Any one know where to get and how to install the full Nepali version of Win XP Nepali . I heard that this is recently lunched in Kathmandu. SO, I thought of trying it.Good thing is as far as I know it is completly free, first ever free product from the MIcrosoft.

I downloaded the software from the link below:
NOw it has changed almost everything in nepali. Just give a try. I hope you can remove it if you dont like it.
First it needs to validate your computer then download the font package, install it and reboot the system, follow the prompts.

i dont know wat happen, but its not letting me install. i hav windows XP but its says u need windows xp + later...

anywayz, aswin jyu...may be u can help me here!!. here is my screen shot.
And once i click OK, it says: the installation of nepali windows is unsccessfull :(

I already removed it, didnt like it at all. all confusing nepali words. english ma habit bhaisakecha.

Microsoft will automatically validate your system. if you have not upgraded it to sp2, upgrade it first then install nepali font interface package. it should work.

I installed it. I am not sure if I like it, I will use it for a few days before removing it.

wow, finally!!!!!!!!!

Just FYI, I did the usability testing for nepali spell checker in Word for MS about a year ago. They had a lot of bugs. Nevertheless, I got to chat with some of the top managers at MS. They were really friendly.

I guess I will install the nepali version of XP once I get home.

PS: there i was thinking that i would develop a Nepali version of XP. i even wrote a paper on that when I was going to college. I guess, it's too late now.

I am unable to install it on Korean Win XP. Due to my work situation I used it mostly but unable to try it on my notebook..........
Could Unlimited work out it to work any Language Win XP.....
