i did not have the guts to view those videos. This is indeed a very sad incident and i feel what will all these muslims get out of this killings? Do you think taking away lives of these innocent people make them a greater human being. In the first place, what was the fault of those nepali people? Just being in the wrong place at the wrong time?

This is not fair at all. I feel the whole world should condemn these Muslims and we should also start captivating all of them.... but i guess we are too humane for that. We still believe in humanity. I seriously thing we should just boycot that country....i.e if the world could get together... and that sure is just a dream!!! :(

Chameli asked: what will all these muslims get out of this killings?

We don't need to go too far... just ask Maoists what they get out of killing their own brothers exactly the way these muslims killed our Nepalese. You bastard Maoists.. Answer this question. You morons.

Anger is the first reaction we have when something like this happens. To psychologically soothe ourselves we want to blame somebody, Girija, Gyane, Maoist, Bush whoeverý Only relationship that created a bond between these 12 poor Nepalese and us and is the geographic boundaries we share as a Nepalese. Regardless of the so called ýrelationshipý we have as citizens of Nepal, at times like this we want to form a deeper relationship with them. The reason is especially people like us who have left Nepal in search of better life for us and our families feel guilty inside for not doing anything to stop this or getting an opportunity to do anything. We are helpless but yet have longing to do something so that all the people that live within the boundaries we share have a life style like us or even better.

So playing the blame game at times like this not a solution. Our human reaction tells us to have solutions now. But in reality thatýs not gonna happen. Perhaps there is NO solution. At a time like this only thing we can do is pray for the bereaved souls and extend help we can to their friends and families.

These poor 12 people are no different than our ýBahadur Gorkhesý who fought in various wars to save a rich manýs dignity. It was not their war; it was a war against their poverty they were trying to alleviate at home. This is no different than other 100s and 1000s of women who are sold, raped and killed in countries like India and in Arab.

So friends, today as we all scramble to find news on these poor Nepalese, we are at the height of our frustrations. We have to ask ourselves, what are you and I willing to do so that we can create an economy within our own boundaries so that the citizens of Nepal donýt have to leave their homeland again. What can we do to create a sustainable environment where a 10 yr old does not have to trade a pen for M16? If we canýt do anything then we have no right to blame anyone. Take the reality with a grain of salt and wash it down with a malt liqueur!

Until today there were no major speculations against these 12 folks. Our attitudes have been ý jaba vayo rati, taba budhi tanti.ý Other than our idiot minister openly saying that the govt. will not be responsible since they entered illegally, what measures were taken by them. What measures were taken by us? Did we request the Bush government to intervene? Did we send delegation in White House to see if they can do something? We are a country of citizens that went to DC to protest against the so called F@#King ýregression in Nepalý but did anyone of us go to the street to help these poor 12 poor Nepalese who lost their lives to save lousy $100/month. NO! So accept the reality folks! We are where we are for a reason!

Pashupatinath le hami sabai ko rakshya garun!

Yeah F@#King Right!

Speachless! I am short of words to describe what I have just seen. My heart goes out to those poor chaps, literally forced out of Nepal and made to work in dangerous places and conditions. NOBODY DESERVES TO DIE LIKE THAT.

We were speechless during their hostility. And we are still speechless after their killings. To us, it makes no difference, right ?

I don't preach voilence. I love John Lennons' Music...but I'm really losing it....Do you think it's about time that we stand up against these extemists (Muslims)? Shouldn't we kick them out of our country? There is no such thing called Good or Bad muslims...they are all bad. There are ones that does commit crime and others support or doesn't condem them..

Any ways, Just a thought...and will read sajaties feedback...

peace to our dead brothers..

I am working next to a Muslim who had never stop venting his frustration one of his brothers and sisters are lost due to the war. But today this moron has not said a word to me about barbaric act by his fellow Muslims. I don't know what I should be doing right now. It's getting hard to control my frustration.

No wonder I support Prez Bush for war on terror.

I wont care if Girija dies.

Our hearts are with the families of these victims.
Lets do something for the bereaved families. Monetary help is the only thing I
can contribute at this momment.

Lets make a collective effort so that it becomes significant.

Any one to take initiative?

Red badar ....puhleez spare meh the dramatics....I guess you knw better, why I can see it.

Well, I guess there is no one to blame in particular. Many factors leading to this form of brutality, but there is no one we can point out. We are all in some ways responsible.

I just meant to say that if the state of Nepal was better....none of this or the current Maoist problem would be there in the first place at all!

Jai Pashupatinath!

AX bro , My suggestion Don't do anything stupid that you have to regret later. If you cannot take it any more andthe pressure seems mounting, just walk away as i did. I work with a muslim too, he is from Jordan and his name is Jordan too. But he was nice enough to come to me this morning and sympathaised.

So i am home now. what a day today has been for me. i got to work about 20 minutes late cuz of a train traffic ( btw, have you heard of that ? A train traffic..Yeah that happens here in DC frequently) , got to work and i was about to take a bite on my bagel with cream cheese, i read the news on Nepal news.com. And then more news from other sites and more news and pictures followed as i wanted to read more.

I said this is it. i could not focus on work any more and left. I am home now.

This is a time to realize. that would be the best thing to do at this sad time. we have been mourning for our brothers and sisters for a long time. It's been too much. Our race, our identity , our generation has suffered a lot in the short period of time. we are vicitim of violence in home and in overseas.
Even in America, we work like dogs, most studetns engage in illegal works to support themselves and get throug schools, we work in middle east, we work in India, we work for everyone -everywhere. enough is enough....

Poverty is certainly behind all this. But , our high ambitions has lot to do too. High ambitions in people and lack of systemic government, and all these money minded evils in the world making us victims. Now we are nothing more than insects, slaves, and victims.
we need to wake up. when i saw those pics, i felt like i was sliced. I felt the pain of them. I imagined how they have talked to each other, how thy might have begged for thier lives and how they might have thought of thier friends and families back home. This is very sad, but being sad just wont help , we need to realize that we're being used by others in the world and put a stop to it...
One thing i have realised , no country - no race ever respects yo u as foreigner who're not in vaccation. So quit being victim. poor or rich , live in Nepal. Eat less but be happy , rather than being victimed.
today's certainly the shitty day....
