Oh Shiva/Christ/Buddha/Allah!

What abt the thousands of Nepalese who are killed everyday by our OWN country men, the so called MAOISTS?

Maybe this is the issue we need to focus on right now. This Iraq incident may not be the last one.Unless sumthing is done in our home base itself , nothing can be done to stop such incidents frm happening abroad. No country, no man, no organization,no government, no god would really help us......a country which does not help itself.

:(

WHAT HAVE WE DONE? THERE WILL BE A DAY WHEN YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE FOR THIS, IF NOT IN THIS WORLD THAN IN THE HIGHER WORLD WHERE YOU WILL SEE WHO IS THE GOD.

THIS IS ONE THE SUCKIEST DAY OF MY LIFE WHEN I CANNOT FIND ANY ANSWER!!!!!!!!

My sentiments towards muslims has never been this fragile. I have some Muslim friends but I won't hold any grudge or hatred towards them even though it seems so hard at times because of their fundamental values that sickens me to stomach.

As I was growing up in Nepal and there were visible amounts of Muslims around me. I dont recall any relgious conflicts..maybe it was becuase of the fact that predominantly our population consisted of Hindus/Buddhists..but again we could have spurred something..we could have done something stupid when India was struggling with its religious porblems..but we dint..why? cuz we dont fight over those little stuffs..we might be poor, stupid but we do respect each other. We are the country that originated peace and non-violence althought it might sound little ironic...and if there is anything thats wrong with us..its becuase of foreign influence .

Today I can't get over those barbaric acts of terrorism and it makes me feel even worse when I think about those family members who have nothing but dead body to cry over. The justice won't be served; the time will pass by and another bunch of Nepalis will be forgotten forever and for nothing. I can't imagine how it would feel to be close to people who have been deceased...I dont know that real pain and but I do share some of the sympathy...

I have always been skeptical abt US policies on war but today all of a sudden it was cleansed..although war is of no good I wouldnt want those dck heads to go free..and If there is god..they will be fcked as well...

IS THERE ANY WAY WE COULD HELP THE FAMILIES OF VICTIMS? MAYBE WE ALL CAN CONTRIUBUTE TO SOME DEGREE....AS WE KNOW THESE PEOPLE WHO WENT THERE WERE JUST LIKE ANY OTHER AVERAGE NEPALIS WHO WERE THERE TO EARN SOME MONEY WITH HARD WORK....i AM SURE THEY HAD COMMITTMENTS TOWARDS THEIR FAMILES...i WOULD LOVE TO CONTRIBUTE IF GUARANTEED THAT IT WILL GET TO RIGHT HANDS..AND i AM SURE LOT OF PEOPLE WON'TMIND THAT AS WELL...

It is so sad that the Nepali government did nothing to help those poor men who were left to die at the hands of those people in Iraq. The poor are being left with less choices in their own country and are opting to take on dangerous missions to feed their families. On the other hand, backing GW Bush this year is an even more dangerous mistake. Folks, don't you see? If there NEVER had been an invasion of Iraq, America wouldn't have pissed off an entire brotherhood of Muslim extremists to act in defense of their beliefs. The foreign policies set forth by this current administration will only lead to more violence if we elect them into office again. It is all politics - it is not always about religion. Extremists in every religion always defend themselves through religion - Christians, Muslims, and yes, even Hindus have done it. The Nepali government is just as much to blame for remaining silent as is the Bush Admin for starting off a fire storm that should never have been started. Read excerpts from Papa Bush's book - he said invading Iraq would result in great harm to Americans and everyone around the world AND, he could never have justified it. Please everyone...read, watch news other than network news, CNN, FOX, etc., educate yourselves about what is really happening! We can't have Bush for another 4 years.

Well, the entire muslim population is always pissed off no matter what you do or what you do not do. Even if America had attacked only Afganistan (and not Iraq), they would have bben pissed off all the same. The Palestinians and its neighbors (Egypt, Syria, Jordan etc)were pissed off when the Jews were also given a share of their land to live and dint want to give the jews any. There are some people who you can not make happy and will find any reason to attack you in case you do not follow their belief.

Even if they lose a football match, they would be pissed off and call for a 'holy war'. Whether they be pissed off or not, the only language they seem to understand, is the language of force and thats exactly what they deserve.

Attacking just about any muslims we find won't solve the problem but perhaps entangle more. Also, if we jump for random killing as those muslims did then how would we justify our acts and denounce theirs? If we want to punish muslims then we should punish only those who are responsible for killing Nepalis. I wish eternal peace to those departed Nepali souls.

Nepali govt. did not do enough in securing release of those killed Nepalese. FM Mahat says govt. did all it could. I don't think so. Govt. perhaps is more concerned with Girija not being able to ride the plane than those poor people who got murdered in Iraq. After all, it is Girija who is after the chair in Singhadurbar not those poor Nepalis who lost their life while trying to earn some money to support their family back home.

Since democracy is in grave danger because Girija was denied access to VIP lounge in Nepal, some bhaktajans are busy singing jaya Girija bhajan...
Tumewa democracy, sovereignty tumewa
Tumewa peopleýs voice, leader tumewa
Tumewa mai bap, singha durbar tumewa
Tumewa malik, ma ma deva deva

jaya jaya jaya Girija.

let's see if those hanumans have time to think about those fallen Nepalis.

Sparsha, you're right - attacking an entire religion based on the horrible acts of a few will not get anyone anywhere. It never has and it only continues to build hatred in ourselves. Every religion has extremism - this is merely just one case of how extremism is a horrible ideology. If the Nepalis in this forum decide that all Muslims should be condemned, aren't we also extremists? This issue goes beyond the bechara Nepali men that were killed to set an example. If we are going to peg an entire group based on the atrocities of a few then we must also surmise that all Nepalis are terrorists because there is a horrible Maoist situation that continues to kill, pillage and extort thousands of individuals. We must look deeper than what happened today. Two months ago it was the South Koreans - and, they protested en masse against the Bush Admin, last month it was an Italian - and, they discontinued their support for the Bush Admin and, then there was the Filipino - their President did not remain silent and actually saved his life by removing troops. The Spanish people proved it could be done by replacing a government after their attack in March. The Nepali govt. must speak up, but will they? We as a people living here must speak up by voting out the Bush Admin that does not support anyone's interest in the world except theirs. Their friends are companies "rebuilding" a country THEY destroyed. The people of Iraq are pissed off because they've been invaded. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer - this is happening everywhere...we must do something...start by changing the politics here and in Nepal. Lets stop being so reactive and think a little more proactively...we would get much further...

We are not heard and it's time to send a message. We should not kill Nepali muslims, but their symbol of Islam should be attacked. Let's extinguish one high profile target from the heart of Kathmandu.

Clinto bombed Afganistan to calm down American from the embassy bombings in Africa. Bush removed Taliban and Saddam to answer 9/11. That didn't solve the problem but they were heard.

What about the space time network and its link to Dawood Ibrahim? If it is real, that got to go.

Yes, the day has been spoiled since this morning.. All nepalese must have lost their concentration. Several things:

1. The barbaric killing of Nepalese proved that our politicians have ZERO DIPLOMACY. I doubt if the Nepalese Ambassador in Qatar is a competent one. This raise serious question on the futile efforts put by the rescuers headed by FM Mahat.

2. When it comes to act in reality, our leaders are useless. These buggers even don't know what the demands were of the captors of nepalese hostage. These buggers didn't even know how to initiate negotiation with the militants holding our 12 Nepalese.

3. Our leaders/politicians are Ghar Ko Baag Ban Ko Shyal.

4. Compare 12 of these Nepalese killed with 10,000 Nepalese killed within Nepal. The RED color of the communists parties in nepal is questionable. Shame on you.

We should all be sorry for not being able to stop the heartbreaking incident of poor nepali bros.

It could happen again and we may need to cry again as those millitants are not sorry for their act. There were no effort to save the innocent nepalese. We could have done something. We waited without action till we lose. We could have demonstrate forcing to pull all Nepalese from Iraq like Phillipinos did, chanted against invasion of Iraq. May that would have helped to avert the incident.

Whom to blame nobody but us because we waited to suffer instead of acting swiftly. However we need to learn lesson to prevent these kind of barbaric act in future by acting swiftly with all ours means.

An obvious example of an extremely poor diplomacy on the part of the Nepali government and its missions in the Gulf.

Compare this with the three Indians who were taken hostage much earlier, yet as of this morning, the Times of India reported them "safe and in good health", quoting the Indian officials.

The King (being the effective head of the Nepali government) should apologize to the families of the dead for not doing enough (or perhaps for not doing ANYTHING!); his foreign minister and the envoys in the Gulf should quit immediately on moral grounds.

I join you all in the mourning.

Man...there are some extremists on this site. How do we justify killing all Muslims in Nepal? What have they done? Doesn't that make Nepalis just as barbaric as the captors in Iraq? Lets look to other countries that have taken pro active positive moves to curb their involvement in Iraq...as I said earlier, lets look to Spain, South Korea, the Philippines, Italy...they have changed entire governments in their own countries and have protested this one to make their leaders aware. They can see the problem lies within their own boundaries and here with this Administration. Change must come from within through struggle and non-violence, not through revenge.

It's night time right now.

I hope by morning, when Nepalese wake up and confronted with this devastating news... I expect something major going on streets of Kathamndu Valley. Not the burning of tires becasue Girija Baje was denied of his VIP priviledges.. but the protests in rememberance of those bros murdered needlessly.

I expect to see resignation from FM Dr. Mahat. I expect resignation from Dr. Mohsin... I epxect recall of the Nepalese Ambassor from Qatar.

I expect all the political leaders marching on the streets.

I expect Maoists announcing ceasefire unilaterally.

I expect Nepalese shaving their heads. It's a long due activity pending for such a long long time anyways.. not only for these 12 Nepalese murdered in Iraq.. but in rememberance of all those 10,000+ Nepalese killed within their own Motherland. It's like you being murdered while being onyour own Mother's lap.

Probably we Nepalese should be keeping shaved head forever. This could be a great way to protest both Govt. and Maoists.

If above things will not be happening... then it means NEPAL is DEAD.
