Hello All,
I wanted some information regarding labor certification processing time. My fiance has his
H1- B and he started his PERM process. He initiated the labor certification step 4 and half months ago. And we have not heard any details from lawyer yet. I wanted to know the whole process. How long does it usually take? What could be the possible reasons for delay? Would it usually take this long? Any information regarding H1-B and Green Card processing would be very helpful. Thank you all.

It;s taking close to 9 months right now. you can check time yourself as well. People filling in around September 2013 are getting their approval. I hope this helps you.

These days its taking around 7-9 months. 1 in 3 cases of Labor Certification get audited which takes another 7-8 months if audited. It's a little complicated process in the whole green card process. Once this hurdle is passed then its smooth sailing.

All you have to do is wait wait and wait. There's nothing you can do.

Good luck.
