Hello everyone,

My visa will expire in 10/09/2014. I thought about it last year, but totally forgot about it till today.
I was looking at the embassy of neapal at http://www.nepalembassyusa.org/passport.php and
it says renewal should be applied with at least one year of validity.

Could you someone please advise what to do?

I am planning to go to Nepal in 2 months, I am not sure if I can renew it in Nepal. If yes,
could someone tell me how long it takes in Nepal to have it renewed?

FYI: I will contact the embassy in DC tomorrow to see what they say.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Not sure of the process so I am not commenting on that part of question.
But bro, if I were you, I would not go to Nepal before getting visa renewed. Do you really want to take that big of a chance ?
Thats all. Think about it.

Thanks for the reply. Yes you are right, it doesn't make sense to go to Nepal, at least not for visa renewal.

I tried to call the embassy and their phone seems down today... may be they have extended holiday for Memorial day. Will try tomorrow.

In the mean while, if anyone has any ideas, please do let me know.
