The foreign student advisor at my old college used to forward these state warnings to Nepalis there all the time. The Dept of State issues these warnings every few months and they all say the same: watch out when you travel to Nepal because there's more possiblity of violence than before. I wouldn't be concerned if I were traveling to Nepal because these warnings are directed to US citizens. I think only our family and friends can tell us whether it's safe for us to travel to Nepal!
