Need help guys!!! IS it a good thing to consolidate ur Debt ??? i got couple of Credit cards with High interest rates and i want to get rid of it...is debt consolidation is a right way to go???? let me hear from u guys...help is appreciated!

Does that mean, your credit has totally been messed up? Did you stop paying your credit card debt? If so don't go for debt consolidate, that may hike your budget. I would rather suggest you to call credit card company and tell them to that you are unable to pay off the debt (just make some reasons), therefore you would like to them to settle if they cut off their debt by 30 ot 40%. And remember to tell them that you will be only able to make monthly payment. I guess this is better and consolidating.

If you do not care about your credit history for next 7 years then file bankruptcy. You do not have to pay a penny.

dude aakash go ahead an file a bankruptcy. i did that 9 years back now i am back to normal 580 credit score. i am gonna make up 700 credit score then file bankruptcy again. i think u should do that too. if you need tips email me

Pieces and Y YAT...u guys r really Y yat !!! haha..jk......Bankruptcy is the last thing i would ever do....
and Pieces, if u do the settlement with CC companies, ur credit will get worse.....thats waht i learned from diff sources.......thanks for the suggestions anyway.....i dont have too much debt..i m just concerned bout the APR% i m paying.....i guess, balance transfer seems to be the best idea for time being!
