Anyone here konws whether you need to visit and get your passport stamped after receiving the plastic green card ? Or getting the plastic green card in the mail is the final step ?

Congratulations!
Getting Plastic card is supposed to be the final step (if there are no errors on your name, alien number etc......). Check your card and make sure that everything is correct.

no need to stamp ur passport. any way congrats. just keep that card in the safe place and check ur name and other info in the card

But I heard that you need to keep your card with you all the time. This is law. They dont enforce it though.

yeah have to keep with us all the time but not in a wallet in a safe place
