Not very close, yet Shreveport is not that far from where I live. I sometimes go there to shop at Indian grocery and to eat at vegeterian restaurant. And I am now wondering if there are any Nepalese that live in Shreveport. If anybody is there, please let me know. We have Nepali get together once in a while in our place, and it would be nice to have some new friends from Shreveport!

That is kind of you.Although I'm from Louisiana, but not from shreveport.I live in neworleans.Do u live in shreveport?If u ever come to Neworleans let me know.I "ll take u around here n also can stay in my place.Not many nepali here.....but things r gettin better after katrina.thanks again SLACKDEMIC ji.

Than you, Chimc-ji, for your response. No, I do not live in Shreveport, but just one hour from Shreveport. Once, one of my friends and I almost drove to New Orleans, but we gave up considering the pretty long drive and not being sure what to look for (the places to visit, i.e.) in New Orleans. I am glad things are getting better after Katrina. Did you start living in New Orleans after the Katrina? What do you do there? Schooling? Working? (If you don't mind my asking) And, thank you for your invitation. I will not forget to drop a line to you if I ever decide to go there. And, my offer is still valid if you are ever coming from New Orleans to Shreveport or East Texas.
