Do I know what Nautanki is?? Never have, never will...Just the name of the topic drives me away from that thread. No disrespect, but why choose the name"nautanki"? It sounds mad gay!! hahaha

To each his own - I personally like the thread but I suppose it may not be to everyones taste.

The one comment I have - and only because you asked, Samsara - pertains to the question "why chose the name nautanki?"

There is a bit of history there. If I had to convey it in a nutshell it was done as a satirical response to a comment on one of the threads. The word "nautanki" was directed at people taking things lightly on Sajha, which included some regulars to what has now become Nautankiland. The very absurdity of the word made it funny and catchy in a playful way. I think people chose the word to laugh at themselves - not so much mockingly but in a light vein and with humility.I don't think anyone at the time thought it would grow the way it has and turn into this relay of threads. The name evolved and just stuck thread after thread and here it is in its present form.

Anyways, just thought I'd throw that out there if it means anything to you and also for the benefit of the larger audience (in case anyone wants to stop by since its open to all who want to have fun and are willing to be civil to one other)

Best regards.

Thanks Haddock...a true gentleman; always civil and polite when it comes to posting all your comments! Never knew that there was a history behind the thread. I'll definitely check the thread out and see if I can throw a few posts here and there myself (being civil to the utmost degree. LOL).

Regards.

Nautankiland.. what I like about you guys is that you make fun of yourselves and laugh.. :) but I do not normally get enough time everyday to login to sajha and keep up but somebody always tells me if something intesting is there in sajha .. and kind of forces me (hahaha somebody is laughing) to read the thread :)

Mostly I am told when sumoff writes a new post.. :) good job sumoff.
