Folks, got married with citizen recently, but past 4 years i have been working under table although i got my S.S. I m filing papers this month but i heard in interview they will ask my 3 years previous tax return. I just feel like i'm in big trouble now. Chances are low... You are 99% safe but that 1% is always fishy....

Nepal12, you choose right path to US citizenship. This should be straight foward case. It's good to work with Immigration lawyer and move forward aggressively. Remember, as a spouse you have equal rights like other US citizens. So, my advice: do not panic and get good lawyer, spend some decent time and money..

I know mexican dude who has been into jail in brawl case but his case was straight forward. However, saying so everybody is different and nothing is guaranteed. Lot has changed and are chaning daily. Do it fast....

GoodLuck with your married life

If you were student you could work with economic hardship. And then if you are graduate you could work with PTO so no worries...they might not even ask anything. As long as you are married for real, there won't be any problem. Don't answer too much...just give they what they are looking for...no more no less...YOU WILL BE FINE.
