For day trading, it is better to go with interactive brokers. Their minimal requirement is $10000 and I am sure you will exceed that easily as the minimum requirement for Day trading is $25000. Day trading is all about speed of execution and your profit depends on how fast your order is executed. Trading platforms such as Sogotrade are snails in term of speed of execution. You should also consider getting NASDAQ Level II window or Total View if your broker doesn't provide it as the difference is ask and bid is the profit that you are going to make in day trading.
