Guys,

Is it possible to open dollar a/c in Kathmandu without being present in Kathmandu?

Does anyone have an experience? Appreciate your response.

You must have a bank account in Dollar denominations and ordinary citizens aren't allowed to have dollar accounts due to govt. regulations. Hope it helps.

I have a dollar account with Sanima Bank. It was easy for me, but may be because I was physically present when I opened Nepali Rupees account (I have two accounts there).
