Hay Sajha Users?

My status right now is F1. I have a friend who recently came to USA from Beldangi Camp Jhapa. She/he is in process of getting Green Card through Refugees status. If I marry him/her, Do you guys think my status changes? Can she/he sponsor GC for me through marriage?
Plz don't think that I am running after GC, it is just matter of luv.

Sure why not? I must be done before her GC process. She must include your name as a husband and all the paper work needed to be done. Once she gets the final process you may need to go to Nepal.

I think it is similar to DV, if you put someone's name as your spouse in the first letter, will be fine.

i don't think what syanjali said is true. since she has already received her refugee status she has to wait till she becomes a citizen to sponsor you.
