Is there anyway to get Canada visa on the same day? I heard if you mailed the documents it may take upto 3 months to get visa? Can we do inperson interview for Canada Visa and get the response on the same day or few days? I am planning to go to canada for stamping visa on my passport. 

Please shed some lights on it guys.

 IT seems almost impossible to get canada visa on the same day. 
Process it asap. Here is why:

One of my friend applied in person. But he was told to drop it.
He got the visa after the conference was done! $#!*!!!

Visit New Jersy or Seattle consular office, you will get the visa on next day. After that cross the border from the same city.

Go to detroit Canadian Consulate Office in Rennainance Center you will get the visa on the same day if you turn in your papers before 11am.

What are you guys talking about??
If you apply in person, most of the consulate will give you the VISA SAME DAY. I am not sure where you are from so call and check with your local consulate.

Last week I went to Seattle and they gave me VISA next day.

Can you tell me about US Visa stamping in Canda. I heard it's really hard to get dates for US VISA stamping in Canada?

 You wont get the visa same day in Seattle Consulate even if you go in person. You will get your passport the next after you are granted visa. Trust me, I went to canada last month from Seattle.

 Those who have gone to Canada on the same day Visa, please realize that rules have changed lately. Please visit the canadian immigration site if you need confirmation.

Looks like Settle is the best place to get canada visa for me. Do you guys know how do i make an appointment for the in person interview? Do i do it online or over the phone?
