I was reading article on mysansar http://www.mysansar.com/2012/06/374/ Kids using magnets to pull coins

As far as I remembered, coins did not contain iron. Is it possible??

O bathroomcoffee how does that link have any relevance? it neither contains information on magnetic property of coins or iron content in coins.

 @bathroomcoffee: tl;dr
I would appreciate if you could copy-paste the line which highlights iron content present in Nepalese coins.

Btw, magnets do attract coins in Nepal. You can see it in action @ "Children of God" documentary 13:58mins.
