GBNC, On the day when you had a program for mourning in Quicy hall, we went there at 7:40 and nobody was there. Even the condolence book was not there. I think you guys should really do what you put in this website. The ending time for signing the condolence book was 8:00P.M. I think GBNC should be more creative and accurate.
The latest addition of Nepal link is fine, but it appears as if it has been squeezed in very uncomfortably in the site homepage.
My 'duipaise ' suggestion is for making an extra page for all these new links, and rather than congesting first page with the details, making a hyperlink to that page from the homepage.
I would like to thank everyone who came to the party the other night and helped us all have a good time. Being an exec. member of GBNC, I have found that it is very difficult, time consuming more than anything else, to get the word out for these events. So, the next time we host events like this, please help us by spreading the word. Thanks.
I don't know if there is another Ekta in Boston. But whoever, is hiding behind my name and posting smart a** comments will be doumbfounded when I tell u that when u view this site...there's is this thing known as IP address which is ur computer permanent address which shows up along with ur comments. So I hope u are little bit ashamed of ur-self. I have an inkling ofwho u are because there is only one person who knows my friend Jolly Anyways, next time u wanna make some comment using my name...better be using my computer. People like u are my impetus to be stronger and confident person. So in a way, Thank YOu.
Please do not be upset when you hear comments like that of Small's. "kag karuida ghanch, pine sukhdai ghancha." It is expected when you are running an organization like the size of GBNC you will always have people who will criticize you for anything you do or do not do. Keep calm, you did a great job. Really, If I were you, I would resign from the post a long time ago from sheer exhaustion. Sorry, I could not be much help.
Hi to everyojne in the Nepali community, I would just like to say thanks to everyone for inviting me to the party on Sunday, I had a wonderful time. It is so nice to meet people from a different country and culture that open their hearts to me.
When you are far from home it is nice to have an "adopted family" as you have become for me.
Okay, so it wasn't the celebration of the millenium but isin't it the people you meet and friends you make that count at the end of the day?? We all live and learn which will just make the next party/event all that much better!!!
Thanks again to all those who made me feel so welcome, If I am ever fortunate to return the favour all are welcome!!!
A new look, yet again and fabulous still. What I would like to say is with your hard work and let's not forget the creative part , and commitment the site is one of the friendliest i meant user friendly sites around. Keep up the good work!
namita
ps my brother from nepal who thinks he is the authority : on creative art was gushing over it!
Hi Namita, Thanks to friendly users like yourself and others who give honest feedback regarding the site, I feel honored to be able to serve the community somehow. Pls keep negative feedbacks flowing too so that I don't bask in glory too much :] SP 5/9/2001 PS: just came across this old gbnc site. This site has come a long way thanks to all of you visitors who have made this site worthy of your continued visits and re-visits.
hey!! mr webcop ..if u wanted to say some1 sux why dont u write ur name? and ekta if u think that we really really need a president so bad ...why dont u run by urself? and then may be u will realize the responisblity..then just saying some1 is doing a bad job.
Sandeep, your website [%@#$]s. You have a redirect function that disables the BACK button. This is such a dirty porn site trick. Have some substance, and not just copy-lifted stuffs....cheers..you [%@#$]
just wodering about the future events listed by the president of GBNC. are they for real or is it just a "LIST" to keep our mouth shut for not hosting the New Year's party????? PLS DON'T DISSAPOINT US.
Did you edit my story? I think the word was not an exceptionable one to warrant such substitution.
Biswo
Hi Biswo, In light of some recent display of foul language, I had set some bad words to be automatically replaced by the word 'LOVE'. It might have replaced some word in your posting although it was not a wrong context. I have removed the auto replace function for now. SP 4/23/2001
